It’s late. I know. But there was no way I was going to miss out on the ultimate Haruk and Yuuto episode…plus the introduction of Haruka’s vaguely Yakuza-ish parents? No way! Not in a million years.
But since my post is coming at the tail end of the love for episode 7, please forgive me if it sounds like I’m just saying things you’ve already heard. You can only read, “Gosh. Cute~!” so many times, I understand.

Love-Com anime at Comiket equals…I don’t know. It’s really just the usual Haruka cuteness, but having a Haruka and Yuuto outing at Comiket adds the same sort of fun that episode two did in Akihabara. No random maid cosplays this time, but it was fun.
I have less to say with this episode though…but I’ll chalk that up to me being short on time since I had as much fun with this episode as I’ve had with others.

I got so busy and this episode post was so delayed that I ended up watching the episode with fansubs. Kind of gets rid of the whole purpose of me downloading the raw, but I still took raw screencaps.
After all, I couldn’t afford to not talk about this episode. This is where love-coms get down to serious business. Shiina, the third corner of our love triangle has arrived. I’ll take my fluff with some jealousy on the side now.
And of course, since this is Haruka, let’s have that be level-headed jealousy not insane yandere bitch jealousy.

The cuteness level is rising, the enjoyable otaku references are rising…why isn’t this show imploding yet?
I’m so pleased with this anime right now that I can’t even be like, “I’m only pleased because it’s not as bad as I thought it would be…” No. I just like it. It’s completely likable. It’s just a lovecom that’s legitimately entertaining…and geared towards guys. I’m still in amazement.

Three episodes in and I am not cautiously optimistic that this series will remain 100% awesome cuteness and will not devolve into a fanservice-fest the likes of To Love-Ru. Though…To Love-Ru started out that way. So maybe it’s not a fair comparison.
But still. Cautiously. I’m still weary of any future swimsuit episodes.

Is it just me or does this series seem to be moving along quickly? It feels like it should only be episode three. Or rather, that I’ve only been watching for three weeks. It must just be me then. Being busy in summer when you should have nothing to do (like…no job), sucks.
But anyway, this week was about…Gertrud. Needed to go to my handy little cheat-sheet to remember. Too many pants-less girls in this anime. Can’t keep them all straight.

Ah~! It continues~!
I loved the first episode, but I kept on being all worried about Nogizaka Haruka being one of those series that has a fun first episode, but then it just goes downhill from there. It happens a lot and I probably would have continued the series anyway, but my enthusiasm would be gone.
But I got exactly 33 seconds into the episode before I already had my, “Awww” overload and had to pause it to have a minor giggling fit. Then I went another four seconds before I had to pause again because of another small fit. Basically, the love hasn’t died yet.

Not enough Mio-sama. That sums up my feelings toward this episode pretty well. They decided to focus more on the many other girls (that don’t have incredibly awesome laughs), and one of the boring ones specifically too.
And let’s just add in that the fanservice has returned as well. In full force! With boobs!
Of course! The boys want more than just the no-pants shots. They get to see no-pants whenever they want to in this show. Heh…I find the obvious fanservice in the show…just so funny.

More fanservice and moe stuff for me to blog. Yay~!
Seriously…I think I like these sorts of shows more than any normal fangirl should. Normally, I don’t discuss these shows when I watch them, but…Haruka is an otaku. And she’s cute. I want to watch it. Besides, the fanservice really isn’t that bad. Not even using my “I can ignore everything” standards.
So…uh…I hope you enjoy me acting like a fanboy and a fangirl, because I’m blogging Haruka as well. Fanboy for my, “Whoot! Haruka is cute!” and fangirl for my, “Ah! They’re blushing~!” I’m just not sure when I’ll be blogging it. Fridays if I decide to watch the raw I suppose, and after the fansub if I decide to go that way after this week. I’m just not sure yet. It seems easy to understand right now anyway.

I was a bad girl. I illegally downloaded the episode. Bad me. I watched the streaming version, but I didn’t take any of my screencaps the first time through. I usually try to go through after and get some images.
But…um…we just got a Wii yesterday. And I think anyone who has a Wii can accept that as a perfectly good excuse. By the time I was done playing, I was too tired to do anything and…tehe. The next morning the stream was gone. Just like it’s supposed to be.
I’m going to have to start remembering about that. At least until I get my own methods of payment to buy the downloads (just 23 more days…).
Now that my confession is out of the way, let’s move on. I will be blogging Strike Witches every Thursday (or Friday if my scheduling gets messed up). I assume making fun of fanservice and cliches will get old after a while, but I can at least give reports on Mio and her awesome laugh every week. It’ll never get old (at least for me).
