Yeah. No, “I lied” again. We’re really done this time.

Now that I’m done with this list there’s a few other things I’d like to bring up. The things the girls had in common, the sort of series they came from, and mostly, what I’ll be doing on Wednesdays from now on. That’s important. I’ll get to that at the end.

I had a lot more to say when I came up with the idea at the very start of my blog, but looking back is harder for me for some reason.

I lied. We’re not done yet.

Super Special Bonus Girl: Sakura from Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle, the more current (and therefore easier to fangirl over) Sakura.

Heh…I got you all. I am so awesome. But not as awesome as Sakura, so let’s move onto that.

(Immense Tsubasa Chronicle spoilers from the manga)

Finally Girl number 1, Amu-chan of Shugo Chara!. It feels kind of anti-climactic given my current feelings toward Amu…but whatever.

Amu is the Cool and Spicy heroine of the amazingly popular mahou shoujo anime, Shugo Chara!. She’s a fairly insecure girl with tons of dreams and an incredible amount of confusion when it comes to guys. But I’m sure almost all of you know that anyway.

(The Usual Spoiler…anime and manga)

Girl number 2, Otomiya Haine from Shinshi Doumei Cross. Just one more to go now, right?

Haine is the always-confused but still unusually awesome heroine of ShinKuro. She always does her best and she’s just…awesome. She’s awesome, okay? Let’s move on.

Now at girl number three on my list of the top ten anime girls, here’s Hoshina Utau (I bet everyone knew she was on here).

Utau is a fourteen year old idol forced to work for Easter for the sake of “saving” Ikuto. She has her devilish Iru side and her sweet inner angel side which produces the cutest chara ever (Eru).

(Obvious spoiler warning because any discussion involving Utau includes spoilers…but I’ll keep it strictly anime)

Girl number four! Kinomoto Sakura from CardCaptor Sakura!

Now as a shoujo and mahou shoujo fan did anyone really expect this cute little girl to be anywhere but in my top five? Or maybe you all just forgot about her!

Sakura is the young girl who becomes the master of the Clow cards and…well I really feel like I shouldn’t have to say more. She’s Sakura after all. Even all the mech fanboys know exactly who she is.

(Tsubasa Chronicle and CCS Spoilers Below)

So, in week number 6, girl number 5 is Koyama Mitsuki from Full Moon wo Sagashite (MANGA ONLY!).

Mitsuki became an orphan the very same day she was born and blames herself for the deaths of everyone around her. She tries to hide her grief and goes toward her dream of being a singer to fulfill a promise with her childhood love. Despite her own incredibly problems, Mitsuki is able to heal the hearts of others. She is only twelve, but her trials and wisdom make it easy to forget.

Full Moon anime and manga spoilers beyond this point.

Anime Girls: Rima

We’re already at the halfway mark! Here’s girl number five (kinda)!

Uh…before I begin, the ranking’s been slightly thrown off. Due to some silly circumstances, a girl got deleted from my list and was never replaced. Thus I found out shortly after posting about Komaki that I was one girl short of ten. I quickly had to put my number ten girl in here. Rima is actually ranked at ten, not five. Sorry. This throws off the ranking, but to be honest it changes a lot on its own anyway. By the time this finishes Rima could be number 5 (or six really) anyway. It shifts around that much.

So…number ten is Mashiro Rima! She’s the new Queen’s Chair for the Guardians who has a stubborn and cold attitude because of certain problems in her home life. But she has an absolutely adorable love of comedians that makes up for any misbehaving she may do.

Alright back to the shoujo (and specifically, Arina Tanemura) girls now for week number four and girl number seven.

Kamiya Komaki (Shinshi Doumei Cross)

Kamiya Komaki from Shinshi Doumei Cross, best known for being Haine’s adorable little sister with a sister complex. The non-incest kind mind you.

Komaki is the president of the Junior High section of the Imperial Academy. She adores her older sister, Haine and will do anything for her “Nee-sama”s happiness. She’s also been in love with Kusame, Haine’s step-brother since the two of them started working on the student council together and she oh so cleverly navigates her way into his heart despite the fact he’s “in love” with Haine. She has an “ojou-sama” attitude, but she’s actually incredibly naive.

Anime Girls: Nagisa

Now entering week three of my blog and my little running series of my Top Ten Anime Girls. I’m departing from the shoujo girls a little now.

Yes, Nagisa from Clannad is my eighth favorite anime girl. I don’t think too many people should be surprised. Most girls I’ve talked to about Clannad prefer Nagisa over the others. It’s not very hard to see why.

Furukawa Nagisa is the main heroine of the Clannad game, TV series, and movie. She was unable to graduate because she missed too much school due to an illness. Despite this, Nagisa loves her school and enjoys going. She can be shy, but when she has to be, she’ll also be incredibly stubborn.
