Happy Halloween everyone!
I tried coming up with something original to do for Halloween, but I’m afraid I failed miserably. I completely forgot and then just ran out of time. I thought about doing nothing, but that would suck. So I thought it over and decided, “What’s better than an image spam?”
So here’s your image spam! But not of Halloween images. Of some great anime characters all dressing up as other great characters. Basically…cosplay! Because seeing everyone dress up in costumes is my favorite part of Halloween. (Obligatory Image Spam Warning)

Edit: *despair* Nagisa lost to the un-moe overly tsundere, but popular, chibi character. As expected. But everyone who loves Nagisa and voted for her deserves thanks. The rest of you should be ashamed.
Bleh. My title is too nice. But since I’m always telling people to respect opinions, I can’t tell non-Nagisa fans to vote for her.
Anyway! Nagisa’s in the final four of SaiMoe and to go any further she needs votes! She’s the last girl of Clannad left and to me she’s really the only one left that fits non-specific moe, original moe, left in the competition. If you want her to win, you have to vote for her. Even if you don’t think she will win at least show your support.
And you know…vote for the other one if you really want to.

Yes! We’ve finally reached the end of the “Kyoko’s life is pathetic” section of this series. You know, where bad things just keep happening to her one after the other. Now she’s finally going to show us that real Kyoko power that so far has only been expressed in her frustration over not being able to do anything. Or, like in the last episode, when her power actually screws stuff up for her.
Now the power of revenge and Kyoko’s “guts!” (exclamation point is necessary) are her most useful tools. Bring it on!

Ah…too much to talk about this week. Something quick on ToraDora! 02-04, Yozakura Quartet 04, Hakushaku to Yousei 01-03 (Yes, finally), and CHAOS;HEAD 03. Also something random about SaiMoe (Nagisa~!).
And as far as the image this week goes…a stubborn Lydia is a cute Lydia and that fact needs attention!
Shugo Chara!! Doki – Episode 55

You know, Doki isn’t that bad if you watch it with really low expectations and make fun of everything. I actually had quite a bit of fun this week. There’s nothing really new to be pissed about (except for the preview, which I’ll get to later).
But then they kind of threw a plot twist at us in the end of the episode which manga fans should recognize, but that’s sort of troublesome as well. Makes me wonder what anyone’s really supposed to expect.
Clannad ~After Story~ – Episode 04

The Sunohara/Mei arc is officially confirmed as the best arc so far in the anime. Out of both seasons. I’m not sure if it’s just me, but I really felt that this one was the best. Perfect balance of humor, moe, drama, it didn’t feel dragged out (good length), and…what? There was a fight scene? Yes. There was.
And the image? I don’t know…I just wanted to use an image of Nagisa and Mei together. That’s all the reason I need.

Ah. This was a tough week. I almost didn’t think I’d get my AW post done at all. I even wondered if I’d fall behind with actually watching a lot of anime too. But of course, there’s Veoh and other places for stuff like that.
This week I blogged CHAOS;HEAD, Yozakura Quartet, and To Aru Majutsu no Index. There’s also some general news about the blog and my plans for the season at the bottom of the post.

We’re heading for Halloween now (though if you watch some commercials, it’s already the Christmas season), so it’s finally time for the Halloween header/banner to make its appearance.
All capitals lame post title makes me feel better. I’m grumpy because I’ve missed out on my opportunity to do an image spam of cute anime girls playing baseball. I had some really cute ones of Nagisa and Rin. The Red Sox ran out of “magic”, which isn’t fair. I liked our magic.
Shugo Chara!! Doki – Episode 54

It feels like I’m watching a fanfiction written by a thirteen-year-old fangirl. It honestly feels that way. Just with some tweaking to create a generic mahou shoujo. The only thing missing is Lulu liking either Tadase or Ikuto. Actually glad that hasn’t happened yet.
Anyway Lulu made her appearance and…well everyone can make their own judgments. My opinion hasn’t changed much from last week. Ikuto’s also in the episode, but it really feels like they just threw him in there to keep us happy. It barely worked (on me).

It’s so moe and just fucking adorable that all of you should have at least had one minor heart-attack each. I did and I surround myself by so much cuteness already, you think I’d be immune. But not against this.
You didn’t get to see all that much of Nagisa this week, but I still enjoyed this episode at least as much as the others. Shocking, I know. Well, what can I say? We’re only two episodes in and this is pretty much already guaranteed to be my favorite arc so far. Plus Mei is just damn cute. She’s my second favorite again this week.
